Completed an incredible 10-night Gokyo Ri and Lakes trek with Dendi. He was an exceptionally attentive, kind-hearted and knowledgeable guide who supported us throughout the entire trip. Everything was organised seamlessly from start to finish, and the whole experience was excellent value. We’ve remained in touch over the years, which says a lot about the kind of person Dendi is. We summited Yala peak with Ongchhu and Nawang on the last day of the climbing season in November 2025. They were both fantastic and I recommend them highly. Ongchhu in particular took great care of us when my partner became unwell with food poisoning in Kyanjin Gompa. He ensured we had everything to make a speedy recovery, and he reorganised the itinerary for the rest of our trip so we could still summit Yala Peak!

My dear friends Ongchhu Sherpa and Lakpa Sherpa took me on an unforgettable adventure to Mera Peak. This journey will stay with me forever, not only because of the breathtaking mountains and powerful landscapes, but especially because of the kindness, wisdom, flexibility and adventurous spirit of these two incredible men.
