Day 01 :

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by your trekking team. After transferring to your hotel, take some time to rest and recover from your flight. In the evening, there will be a briefing session with your guide to go over the trek itinerary, permits, and important tips for the journey ahead. You can also explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, shop for last-minute trekking gear, or enjoy a local Nepali meal. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02 :

Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trekking Preparation (1,400 m)

Today is dedicated to exploring the cultural richness of Kathmandu and preparing for your trek. You will visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple, experiencing the spiritual and historical essence of Nepal.

In the afternoon, your guide will assist with trekking permit collection, gear checks, and final preparations for the journey ahead. This is also a great opportunity to purchase any additional trekking supplies you may need. An overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu follows.

Day 03 :

Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (2,652 m) – 3 to 4 hours

Early in the morning, take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region, offering stunning aerial views of the Himalayan peaks. Upon arrival in Lukla, you will meet your trekking team and begin your trek towards Phakding, a charming Sherpa village nestled along the Dudh Koshi River.

The trail is mostly downhill or flat, making it a gentle start to acclimatization. Enjoy the serene river views, suspension bridges, and surrounding hills as you settle into your first teahouse stay. Overnight at a teahouse in Phakding.

Day 04 :

Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) – 5 to 6 hours

Trek along the Dudh Koshi River through forests and suspension bridges to reach Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa town and gateway to Everest. Rest, explore, and acclimatize.

Day 05 :

Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar – 2 to 3 hours

Spend the day acclimatizing to the altitude. Take a short hike to nearby viewpoints for stunning views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other Himalayan peaks. Return to Namche for rest and overnight stay.

Day 06 :

Namche Bazaar to Dole (4,410 m) – 5 to 6 hours

Trek through beautiful rhododendron forests and high-altitude trails, gradually ascending toward Dole. Enjoy scenic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys along the way. Overnight stay at a teahouse in Dole.

Day 07 :

Dole to Machherma (4,470 m) – 3 to 4 hours

Today’s trek is a shorter, gradual ascent to Machherma, allowing your body to adjust to higher altitudes. Enjoy the stunning Himalayan views and peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay at a teahouse in Machherma.

Day 08 :

Machherma to Gokyo Lake (4,800 m) – 4 to 5 hours

Trek through high-altitude trails with breathtaking views of surrounding peaks to reach Gokyo Lake, one of the most beautiful glacial lakes in the region. Enjoy the serene environment and overnight stay at a teahouse near the lake.

Day 09 :

Hike to Gokyo Ri and back to Gokyo (5,483 m) – 2 to 3 hours

Today, take a short hike to Gokyo Ri for panoramic views of Everest, Cho Oyu, and other Himalayan peaks. Return to Gokyo for rest and overnight stay at a teahouse.

Day 10 :

Gokyo to Thagnak (4,750 m) – 2 to 3 hours

Trek through scenic trails along the Ngozumpa Glacier to reach Thagnak, a peaceful high-altitude village. Enjoy the spectacular mountain views and overnight stay at a teahouse.

Day 11 :

Thagnak to Cho La Pass to Dzongla (5,367 m) – 5 to 7 hours

Today, trek across the challenging Cho La Pass, one of the toughest sections of the trek, offering breathtaking views of glaciers and peaks. After crossing, descend to Dzongla for rest and overnight stay at a teahouse.

Day 12 :

Dzongla to Lobuche (4,940 m) – 3 to 4 hours

Trek gradually downhill through alpine terrain from Dzongla to Lobuche, passing stunning mountain scenery and small settlements. Overnight stay at a teahouse in Lobuche.

Day 13 :

Lobuche to Gorak Shep with Everest Base Camp visit (5,364 m) – 5 to 6 hours

Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep, then make a side hike to Everest Base Camp, the iconic destination for trekkers. Return to Gorak Shep for rest and overnight stay at a teahouse.

Day 14 :

Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar and onward to Pheriche/Pangbouche (5/6 hours)

Early morning, hike to Kala Patthar for spectacular sunrise views of Mount Everest and surrounding peaks. Descend to Pheriche or Pangbouche village for rest and overnight stay at a teahouse.

Day 15 :

Pangbouche to Namche Bazaar (3,438 m) – 5 to 6 hours

Descend through forests and traditional Sherpa villages back to Namche Bazaar. Enjoy the vibrant town, rest, and overnight stay at a teahouse.

Day 16 :

Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800 m) – 5 to 6 hours

Descend through forests and riverside trails back to Lukla, completing the return trek. Overnight stay at a teahouse in Lukla.

Day 17 :

Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu

Final Departure from Kathmandu
