8-day Everest Panorama Trek

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel where you can rest and acclimatize. In the evening, your guide will provide a detailed briefing about the trek, including essential tips, gear checks, and an overview of the Everest region. Overnight stay is at a hotel in Kathmandu.

After an early breakfast, take a thrilling flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, surrounded by dramatic Himalayan views. From Lukla, begin trekking along the Dudh Koshi River, passing through charming villages, suspension bridges, and lush forests before arriving at Phakding. The trek takes around 3–4 hours, offering your first taste of the Khumbu region. Overnight stay is in a tea house at Phakding.

The trek continues through pine forests and across several suspension bridges, with breathtaking views of Thamserku and Kongde Ri. Arriving at Namche Bazaar, you will experience the lively atmosphere of this Sherpa town, known for its markets and local culture. Trekking time is approximately 5–7 hours. Overnight stay is in Namche Bazaar.

Today is dedicated to acclimatization. Embark on a short hike to the Everest Viewpoint or Syangboche area, which offers stunning panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. In the afternoon, explore Namche Bazaar, interact with locals, and enjoy the unique Sherpa culture. Trekking time for the day is around 4–5 hours. Overnight stay is in Namche Bazaar.

Trek through scenic rhododendron and pine forests, crossing rivers along the way, until you reach Tengboche Monastery. The monastery, perched on a ridge, provides spectacular views of Ama Dablam and Mount Everest, making it one of the most iconic spots in the Khumbu. Trekking time is approximately 5–6 hours. Overnight stay is in Tengboche.

The trek from Tengboche to Manju is a long but beautiful descent through forests, riversides, and traditional Sherpa villages. The trail drops from Tengboche to the Dudh Koshi River, passes Phunki Tenga, and continues toward Namche Bazaar. After a steep downhill from Namche, you follow a peaceful river trail through Jorsalle before reaching Manju, a quiet village at the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. This day offers stunning mountain views and a mix of forest and cultural scenery.

The trek from Manju to Lukla is your final walking day in the Everest region, following a gentle trail along the Dudh Koshi River. You pass through small villages like Phakding, Ghat, and Chheplung, enjoying green forests, mani walls, and prayer wheels along the way. After crossing several suspension bridges, the trail makes a final gradual climb toward Lukla. This last stretch offers a peaceful and scenic finish to the trek before your flight back to Kathmandu.

From Lukla, you take a scenic mountain flight back to Kathmandu, marking the end of your Himalayan journey. The short flight offers final views of the Khumbu Valley and surrounding peaks. Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax and enjoy the comfort of the city after completing your trek.
