Langtang Yala Peak Climbing

14 Days 13 Nights

Yala Peak (≈ 5,500 m) is a beginner-friendly trekking peak located in Nepal’s Langtang Valley, inside Langtang National Park. The climb offers an exciting combination of trekking through lush forests, traditional Tamang villages, and yak pastures, along with a non-technical ascent to a high Himalayan summit.

The typical journey begins from Kathmandu, followed by a drive to Syabrubesi, then a multi-day trek through Lama Hotel, Langtang Village, and Kyanjin Gompa. Climbers usually set up camp at Yala Base Camp (~4,600 m) before an early morning summit push. From the top, you get spectacular views of Langtang Lirung, Shishapangma, Dorje Lakpa, and other surrounding peaks.
